Heat Treating Regional Sales Manager

Grand Rapids, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a national supplier of raw materials to the automotive industry. Due to current growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Sales Manager.

What you will do: The Sales Manager represents the company, selling manufactured products, and opening/developing new accounts. The position seeks and nurtures direct sales and customer relationships, tracks channel accomplishments, and improves product sales opportunities. Additionally, the role manages assigned territory, maintains sales and generates new business, while also coordinating ongoing management of accounts with the inside sales team, and working with manufacturers reps and distributors to develop and manage markets and territories. Further responsibilities include identifying customer’s current and future needs, conducting personal sales calls routinely and establishing long-term relationships, meeting the sales and gross profit goals for accounts within territory, and closing the sale by addressing customer concerns and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.

What you will need: Strong experience in sales. Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments. Experience selling into and managing a territory.
