Hardware Design Engineer-Tier One Automotive

Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Hardware Engineer.

What you will do: The Hardware Engineer develops schematic, test and integrate, deliver and maintain high quality embedded hardware for various hardware platforms/applications, creates/maintains portable, configurable, modular and reusable hardware functions/features, and supports hardware, software, and application software teams. The role creates and maintains requirements and design documents, develops hardware schematics, and creates hardware layout. The position conducts and participates in schematic design and architecture reviews, while also planning, schedule, and monitor hardware related activities.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience working as an embedded hardware engineer. Strong knowledge and experience with altium. Design hardware schematic experience for analog and digital circuitry. Experience in bringing up progotype and production intent hardware. Solid experience to work with automotive microprocessors, microcontrollers, sensors interface, actuators, drivers and high speed digital interfaces such as SATA, USB, LVDs, PCIe, LVDS, Ethernet, vehicle CAN network. Knowledge of an event driven architecture.
