Hardware Development Manager

Plymouth, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with an international, tier-one automotive supplier. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a Hardware Development Manager.

What you will do: The Hardware Development Manager is responsible for project management, design, software development, hardware development and the test laboratory. The role assures the expected development quality, provides costs and deadline goals, and develops product and marketing strategies along with new clients. The position steers the development processes, delegating the development tasks and placing assignments with the group and project managers, while also familiarizing, promoting, instructing and motivating the employees. Additionally, the Hardware Development Manager plans capacities (internal/external personnel and resources) with a view to business plan fulfillment in order to achieve the business goals/optimal composition and capacity exploitation, assigns/supports the quote teams in acquisition and presenting products at national and international customers/suppliers, and implements new technologies/innovations.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience development management within automotive engineering. Experience with both hardware and software. Metal and plastics processing experience.
