Southfield, Michigan Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is partnering with a company that is leading the way in advanced production systems for full body, components manufacturing and turnkey body shops. Due to their recent growth, the company is searching for a Controls Engineer – Hardware.

What you will do: The Controls Hardware Engineer starts a project at the beginning and follows it through final customer acceptance. The role reviews customer specifications, standards/past projects, and leads a team of other hardware engineers in designing the complete controls portion of the machine (electrical, fluids, and pneumatics).The position is responsible for producing a quality design on schedule, getting customer acceptance, reviewing panel build, and assisting as required while the machine is being built and debugged. Some short duration travel is possible for customer meetings, field checks, or installation support.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience in controls engineering. Current experience in hardware. Competent in 2D AutoCAD and ePlan. Experience in fluids and pneumatic design. Experience in leading a team of design engineers. Experience in conducting field checks of existing equipment.
