Global Facilities Manager

Auburn Hills, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with a global tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, the company has a newly created position for a Global Facilities Manager.

What you will do: The Global Facilities Manager develops/maintains positive relationships with clients, conducts client meetings, communicates to clients regarding facilities performance, and communicates to clients regarding property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, work order progress reports, and other related reports. The role manages subcontractor vendors, recruitment of vendor services, and vendor service comparison, organizes the operations and maintenance of facilities globally and maintains records for all purchases, costs and delivery dates. The position develops policies and procedures to ensure that client contract specifications are fulfilled, prepares presentations to management and clients to obtain approval for projects, and develops/recommends strategic facility management objectives. Additionally, the Global Facility Manager prepares capital project budgets and operating budget reports, is responsible for facility inspections, and coordinates utility accounts and services for new sites.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Advanced experience in new plant start-up, green and brownfield. Experience with budgeting, implementation, and inspection. Experience overseeing multiple locations. Global responsibility background. Real estate knowledge. Ability to travel up to 30%.
