Global Account Manager - Thermal Spray

Hempstead, New York – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with a growing manufacturing client based in West Virginia and due to this growth, they have opened a position for a Global Account Manager.

What you will do: The Global Account Manager is responsible for generating prospects and profitable sales, getting profitable businesses, and generating healthy revenue growth for the company as well as diversifying customer and product portfolio. The role grows the company’s book of business by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business transactions that improve revenue and profitability growth, locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential customers and partners, and closes new business deals by coordinating fulfillment of customer requirements. The position negotiates contracts, and screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, growth potential, and profitability, and recommends capacity improvements in technical centers and manufacturing sites to improve probability of success with customers.
he R&D Coatings Manager is responsible for managing the materials R&D powderlab and a small team of technologists and lab engineers. The role manages daily tasks in the laboratory, plans/schedules work and resources, and technically supports to the laboratory team in development phase. The position trains/develops personnel, is responsible for financial project control, SAP transactions, oOrdering lab supplies, and handling CAPEX requests, and implements a culture of iInnovation and process improvement (lean principles). Additionally, the R&D Coatings Manager is responsible for the cCoordination between the RD lab and external as well as internal customers such as RD scientists, RD project leaders, Product Portfolio Managers, sales.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Current experience in sales management. Experience working in an MNC including international sales experience. Strong experience in manufacturing sales. Strong experience in business development. Knowledge of the thermal spray coating industry is a plus.
