Ford Key Account Manager

Wixom, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Ford Key Account Manager.

What you will do: The Ford Key Account Manager develops/implements global strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals, oversees sales forecasting activities for their respective customers, and reviews market analyses to determine upcoming customer needs, and represents company at trade association meetings to promote products. The role delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with appropriate department representatives, meets with key clients to maintain and enhance relationships, and negotiates sales offers with customers, while also reviewing/approving periodic sales reports. The position pursues, quotes, and acquires new business, monitors the activities and products of the competition, and manages significant commercial and customer issues. Additionally, the Ford Key Account Manager negotiates/minimizes cost savings provided to customer, participates in cost reduction reviews both internally and with the customer, and reviews profitability and payments for changes.

What you will need: Current experience in account management. Experience with Ford. Familiarity with customer process and procedures regarding payment for prototypes, production parts, and tooling.
