Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading supplier of electronic components to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created Financial Planning Manager position open.
What you will do: The Financial Planning Manager executes, plans, manages, controls and reports the financial performance of the division and business units. The position partner with product managers on new product pipeline profit, continues a sustainable pipeline of new products with an increased focus on investment and profit expectations, and plans, manages, controls and reports financial focus areas including: capacity utilization and planning for capacity restraints, evaluating investment criteria using internal economic philosophies, benchmarking, new product and other costing analyses, and identification of market opportunities and risk. The role communicates monthly financial statements including reconciliation of landed gross margin to management reporting, supports financial reporting to corporate finance, and drives creative destruction, looking for ways to improve processes and create additional value for customers.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in finance/accounting. Certified Public Accountant or equivalent is preferred. Strong manufacturing experience in costing and accounting. Strong financial analyses acumen including cost accounting and familiarity with manufacturing environment. Proficient in SAP, RPM and Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC).
