New Boston, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Financial Analyst.
What you will do: The Financial Analyst supports controlling team lead, departments and cost center managers in the use of figures, analyzes essential controlling information as a basis for decision-making to ensure the economic success of the company, and supports controlling team lead in the preparation of monthly reporting, forecasting, planning, and process implementation. The position provides advice in controlling costs through participation in project teams, participates in audit activities, and is involved in the yearly budget planning processes as well as quarterly forecasts and data input. The role provides assistance in investment planning preparation, review, controlling and feasibility assessments, ensures assigned cost calculations, and prepares/participates in monthly target/actual meetings with department managers. Additionally, the Financial Analyst provides assistance to the finance department for month and year end closing activities, provides support as a team member to drive optimal profit margins and improve business results, and supports finance and controlling team members to develop stable processes that improve the efficiency of the group.
What you will need: BA in Business Administration or Finance. Experience with SAP. Current experience in cost accounting or finance within the automotive industry. Experience in budgeting/planning, financial reporting, and financial analysis. German language skills are a plus.
