Canton, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a tier-one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Financial Analyst.
What you will do: The Financial Analyst develops estimated part costs including coordination of input from sales, manufacturing and supply chain and provides pricing recommendations and analysis when quoting new business and engineering changes. The role supports customer RFQ process, supports business development/ OE sales and new business opportunities, and administers pricing process. The position develops/implements a profitability analysis process by various attributes, including customer, product and region, studies market price and share analysis, and develops/establishes transfer prices between intercompany locations based on market attributes. Additionally, the Financial Analyst works in developing budget and forecast by customer.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering. Current experience in engineering financial analysis. Background in a manufacturing environment. Experience in the automotive industry. Knowledge of product costing. ERP experience a plus, specifically QAD. Experience with Campfire/ProEvolve a plus.
