Birmingham, Alabama – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Finance Manager, southwest of Birmingham.
What you will do: The Finance Manager communicates with the Accounting Department, Plant Manager, and Management team on a daily basis, participates in Management Review Meeting (MRM) process, and schedules accounting meetings with managerial staff. The role consolidates weekly P&L information from managers, updates and reviews tooling reports, and updates and reviews Open Commercial Issues reports. The position assigns account numbers to purchase orders, tracks department open tasks, and tracks booked hours worked vs. payroll hours. Additionally, the Finance Manager tracks and monitors project profit analysis, project closure profitability acceptance, and customer tooling audits assurance.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree. Current automotive finance experience.
