Field Controls Engineer - Siemens

Austin, Texas – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a leading supplier of controls system integration. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for Controls Engineer.

What you will do: The Controls Engineer designs electrical schematics, one line diagrams in AutoCAD and implements controls systems on new equipment, while also testing and troubleshooting control systems at the shop, local panel shops, and in the field. Additionally, the position designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements all aspects of electrical controls systems software and hardware, while also working with a team of engineer toward the completion of multiple configuration projects.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Siemens PLC/HMI (Step 7, WinCC) software development experience. Mitsubishi PLC/HMI (GX Developer, GX Works, GT Designer) software development experience. Hardware design experience. Current experience in control systems engineering. Current experience in a manufacturing position. 20-30% regional travel. Motion Control/Robotics experience strongly preferred.
