Fastener Inside Sales Manager


Livonia, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with a global tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, the company has a newly created position for an Inside Sales Manager – Fasteners.

What you will do: The Inside Sales Manager – Fasteners supports sales function through managing assigned key customers, serves one direct key account with full sales responsibility, serves as primary day-to-day contact, referring to other departments for resolution as needed, and coordinates/resolves any issues with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met, managing the sales team. The position assists in Long Range Planning (Sales Forecasting), the Sales Planning process, and Material Inflation tracking and recovery process, while also supporting finance in recovering past dues, Process Credit/Debit Memos from AR with pricing discrepancies and managing customer files and program documentations. Additional responsibilities of the Inside Sales Manager – Fasteners include supporting account managers in the fasteners team, serving one direct key account with full sales responsibility, and management of team of 2 inside sales specialists. The role is responsible for management of RFQ to Customer Quotation, presenting new business opportunities at filter meetings and commercial policy.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field. Current experience in an Inside Sales role or equivalent Customer Manager role. A good knowledge of manufacturing/sales systems and practices, along with some experience in plastic parts and fasteners.
