Facilities Engineer

York, Pennsylvania – Movement Search & Delivery  www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a developer and designer of IT systems and services. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Facilities Engineer.

What you will do: The Facilities Engineer is responsible for all maintenance operations:  electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical.  The position repairs, modifies and develops specifications for new or used machinery, equipment and tooling, develops, schedules and supervises the plant equipment, lubrication and preventative maintenance program, and maintains a tool crib storage area for inventory of machine and repair parts. The role keeps abreast of current machinery, equipment and tooling technology, maintains current Maintenance Department files of engineering drawings, equipment manuals and specifications, and prepares and submits cost justifications for any capital expenditures, while also assisting with the identification and solution of safety issues related to facilities and plant machinery.  Additionally, the Facilities Engineer schedules and manages activities of outside service contractors and schedules and supervises maintenance of the plant building and grounds.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on facilities. Experience supervising a maintenance department. Detailed working knowledge of engineering practices, principles and applications. Previous experience with SolidWorks and Autocad. Previous experience with SAP. Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and practical application of same.
