Davison, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a single source company for dewatering and pumping services. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Estimating Applications Engineer.
What you will do: The Estimating Applications Engineer evaluates search outputs for strong bidding opportunities for the company, assists in writing comprehensive commercial quotations, and assists with the gathering of technical data on projects, analyzing that data, and preparing reports to summarize project details. The role participate in post-audit analysis of project results, assists with problems involving system design, and performs mathematical and engineering calculations and estimates. The position evaluates engineering plans, drawings and specifications, writes detailed commercial and technical descriptions for project quotations, and conducts post-project audits and analyses of completed projects.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field. Knowledge of budget cost estimating and bidding procedures. Work experience in the construction industry. Current experience in applications engineering.
