Auburn, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a tier-one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a EH&S Manager.
What you will do: The Environmental Manager coordinates the day-to-day management of the company’s environmental compliance and performance, while ensuring environmental programs, procedures, training, work practices, and controls are implemented efficiently. The role completes research/provides insight and analysis for laws, regulations, guidance and policy, while also identifying environmental issues/concerns. The position performs environmental audits, maintains permits and submission for modifications and renewals, and coordinates day to day hazardous waste management. Additionally, the Environmental Manager trains entry-level personnel on regulations, establishes a waste minimization plan, and manages recycling programs to create sustainability.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in environmental Science or Engineering. Current experience in environmental compliance in the industrial sector. Experience in environmental management. Familiarity with environmental certifications and objectives, documentation, internal audit schedule and improvement programs such as ISO 14001, registrar audits, sustainability, REACH, RoHS, EPA’s, and Wastewise.
