Toledo, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with an industry leader in the consumer products industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Environmental Engineer.
What you will do: The Environmental Engineer works with operating personnel to provide routine environmental support services, understands environmental regulations and corporate programs, and develops internal compliance procedures with the support of the operations. The role is responsible for preparation of air emission, water discharge, and stormwater discharge permit applications, negotiating permits, and monitoring compliance and preparing routine reports. The position provides technical support and project supervision for waste (hazard and non-hazardous) disposal projects, performs environmental audits, and preps numerous environmental plans/procedures, while also providing training to operations personnel on environmental, safety and health issues and procedures. Additionally, the Environmental Engineer supports emergency response, is responsible for zero landfill initiatives, and continually asses safety ricks.
What you will need: BS degree in Engineering. Current experience in environmental engineering. Familiarity with water treatment processes, water chemistry, and environmental regulations. Experience with SPCC plans, hazardous waste plans, and waste contingency plans. Manufacturing environment experience. Experience with AutoCAD.
