Entry Level Engineer

Winona, Minnesota – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a growing, multi-billion dollar manufacturing client with headquarters in Atlanta. Due to their growth, our client has a newly created position for a Buyer Planner.  This role will purchase material to keep the cells running and plan for the materials use in the manufacturing process.

What you will do: This is a pure manufacturing focused role that will balance the inventory with the demand for the manufacturing demands.  This position will monitor Kanban for size reduction while focusing on material allocation.   This is a supply chain role that will utilize an engineering discipline that  will be directly responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing cell working with both hourly employees, managers and internal customers.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.  The desire to move in to  a Buyer/Planner role within a high volume manufacturing environment.  Knowledge of Lean and KanBan principles, preferably in a co-op/internship. Product component knowledge and assembly processes.
