Decatur, Georgia – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a growing, multi-billion dollar manufacturing client. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Engineering Technician.
What you will do: The Engineering Technician is responsible for construction of prototype circuits/controls, troubleshooting electrical issues and conducting testing to verify electronic design. The role assembles prototype circuits and/or controls to prove out design concepts, conducts testing to verify design, and constructs testers/fixtures as required to complete prototype evaluation. The position performs engineering design validation testing per product test plan, reports results to the project team, and constructs testers/fixtures as required to complete design validation. Additionally, the Engineering Technician troubleshoots failures/issues from prototype and design validation testing, reports findings/recommendations to the hardware designers, and minimizes cost of laboratory operations by being proactive in suggesting new, innovative means to achieve a specific company goal.
What you will need: Associates Degree or Technical Degree. Electronic controls development and knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering principles. Current experience in manufacturing.
