Emporium, Pennsylvania – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with multinational manufacturing company. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Engineering Manager.
What you will do: The Engineering Manager manages engineering team at local site, promotes teamwork with cross-functional areas including quality, sales, and continuous improvement, and completes required personnel reviews in a timely manner. The role leads in the development, coaching, and execution of training activities for the engineering team, represents engineering team in the plant management team, and manages local engineering information. The position participates in tool design and dimensional change analysis, manages APQP engineering activities and manage product risk, and assists in the creation of the site industrial plan and manages its execution, while also overseeing the design and execution of experiments for process development, maintenance, improvement and optimization. Additionally, the Engineering Manager supports new product development as necessary, implements cost reductions and productivity improvements, and participates in VA/VE activities.
What you need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in engineering management. Experience in the powder metal industry, including compacting, sintering, and sizing processes. Proficiency in manufacturing and process engineering system development, automotive quality systems, ISO/TS/QS International Quality Standards, MPIF standards, and problem-solving.
