Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading supplier of electronic components to a myriad of industries. We have been tasked to identify an Engineering Manager for a newly created role.
What you will do: This is a functional engineering management role leading staff to develop strategic and technically sound products utilizing product development and AQP processes through field release. This role focuses on continuous improvement and reduction in time-to-market while reviewing and approving engineering project documentation and engineering analysis for consistency and accuracy. Ensures that plant personnel, marketing and other appropriate personnel are notified on product changes, modifications, and extensions while providing technical support to marketing and sales This position will also develop and manage an engineering product development team which can design, win, validate and launch product.
What you will need: Bachelor degree in engineering Ten years progressive engineering experience with at least 5 years of project level work. Knowledge of SPC. Experience with finite element modeling and solid modeling. Knowledge of manufacturing techniques in most of the following areas: molding, stamping, plating, assembly and dies Knowledge of high speed connector required. Automotive experience.
