Memphis, Tennessee – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a global Tier One supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly opened position for an Attorney.
What you will do: The Attorney provides advice and training, in coordination with the general counsel in contract law, intellectual property, anti-trust, competition, regulatory compliance, and assisting on policy and procedure development. The role assists in preparing budget information, reports and attending meetings and manages compliance associated with international trade activities including ensuring proper import compliance and export controls. The position works on labor and employment law issues, regulatory compliance (OSHA, workers’ Compensation, and ERISA), employment policy and procedure development, while also counseling relating to hiring, terminating, discipline, discrimination, retaliation and employment agreements. This role will be 100% focused on employment law.
What you will need: Law Degree from an ABA accredited law school and admitted to practice in a good standing in Tennessee. Experience with a reputable law firm working with manufacturing based companies as 3rd party OR as an in-house counsel. Experience with reviewing, drafting and analyzing agreements regarding employment law. Experience with OSHA. Ability to travel up to 15%.
