Emissions Calibration Engineer

Ann Arbor, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com  is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Emissions Calibration Engineer.

What you will do: The Emissions Calibration Engineer is responsible for developing engine calibrations to meet emission standards while delivering best-in-class vehicle driveability. The role works with the base engine groups and vehicle teams to meet the customers desired engine objectives, while also performing verification testing in accordance with powertrain system functional objectives. The position is responsible for developing test plans, establishing goals / timelines, and communicating status of a project to completion with the main focus being to find common ground balancing conflicting requirements between emissions, driveability, diagnostics, and fuel consumption.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Mid-range experience in engineering. Current experience in automotive manufacturing. Experience in driveability and emissions calibration.
