Auburn Hills, Michigan Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with an international tier-one supplier of automotive components. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Embedded Software Development Engineer.

What you will do: The Embedded Software Development Engineer develops software and supports electronic hardware development to drive and control Electro-Hydraulic Shift Technology products.  The role supports validation group to drive products, interprets test results, and supports technical communication to key suppliers. The position interprets customer engineering specifications and helps converting them into internal specs, develops prototype software to drive/control products, and supports developments of production intent software to drive/control products. Additionally, the Embedded Software Development Engineer conducts technical presentations using various communications and monitors industry trends, new product introductions and new technologies that R&D can use to improve cost and performance, and make recommendations.

What you will need: Four year software engineering degree or electrical engineering degree. Advanced experience in a product design development and release to production environment, preferably within the automotive industry. Knowledge of C and C++ software language. Knowledge of automotive programming standards according to ISO26262 and MISRA_C. Experience in BLDC motor controls. Knowledge of Automotive communications (CAN, LIN, FlexRay). Knowledge of electronic hardware development. Knowledge of customer program development systems.
