Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Controls Engineer.
What you will do: The Controls Engineer works with power-train controls and creates and maintains requirements documents, conducts and/or participates in design/architecture reviews, and supports software, firmware and hardware design and development activities. The position generates autocode using Embedded Coder or Targetlink and develops, integrates, tests, releases and maintains high quality software.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience in developing embedded firmware and application software using C and Mathworks suite of tools for Gasoline and Diesel Engine Controls. Experience working with automotive micro-controllers and FPGAs. Experience supporting hardware and firmware development activity. Experience leading application development, software build and release activities. Experience leading/supporting test and integration activities on HIL. Knowledge of gasoline, diesel, alternative fuel, bi-fuel and hybrid.
