Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a multi-national leader in automobile electronics. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Resident Engineer.
What you will do: The Resident Engineer’s main responsibility is to provide customers with on-site support for products (mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical and electronic) by providing general support to customer engineers, promoting desirability and practicability, supporting the account managers and assisting with the development new and existing business relationships. The position writes, tracks, and reports on concerns, assists with initiating the change process and provides on-site support of vehicle prototype and pre-production builds. The role provides 3D and 2D model tracking, facilitates/monitors the timely delivery of prototype samples, and maintains/distributes log of concerns, alerts, notices, part numbers, etc.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in automotive electric engineering. Experience with mechatronics. Experience with electronics. CAD experience.
