Electronics Engineering Technician

Livonia, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a leading engineering services company   Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for an Electronic Engineering Technician.

What you will do: The Engineering Technician provides electronic support for design, build and repair of electronic products. The role works in a team environment directly with engineers and project managers. The position troubleshoots and repairs electronic and electromechanical devices, assists with the design and fabrication of test stands, and tests fixtures and writing of test procedures. Additionally, the Engineering Technician assembles and tests new products including circuit boards, electromechanical devices and assemblies, while also programming test fixture components.

What you will need: Associates Degree in Electronics Technology. Experienced in soldering and desoldering both through hole and surface mount components. Experienced in troubleshooting, repairing and testing electronics and electromechanical devices. Experience with SMD passive component soldering capabilities. Experience with QFP/LGA/BGA component soldering capabilities. Experience with power electronics component soldering. Experience with troubleshooting electronics at the passive/microprocessor/memory/transformer level.
