Atlanta, Georgia – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a growing, multi-billion dollar manufacturing client with headquarters in Atlanta. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Power Electronics Engineer east of Atlanta, Georgia.

What you will do: The Power Electronics Engineer directs the integration of innovative electronic controls and communication into LED drivers and engines, establishes a solid process infrastructure for electronic design and validation, and directs the proliferation of robust and cost-effective platforms across product portfolio. The role develops, grows, and sustains key strategic and technical partnerships, manages multiple projects, and coordinates system architectures and interfaces with engines (controls, drivers). Additionally, the position creates a robust NPI manufacturing sign-off plan for electronic LED systems and leads in industry and government activities that may shape LED systems.

What you will need: BS/MS in Electronics Engineering. Current experience in electronics engineering. Solid program management capabilities. Demonstrated capabilities in leading resources through project execution. Manufacturing implementation experience a must. Evaluation and testing of various electronic products for lighting applications, including LEDs, LED drivers, magnetic and electronic HID ballasts/lamps, magnetic and electronic fluorescent ballasts/lamps, electronic controls. Magnetic and electronic ballast design experience, component design experience.
