Electrical Maintenance Technician

Highland Park, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery  www.movementsearch.com  is working with a world leading supplier of innovative parts and systems to the global automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Maintenance Technician.

What you will do: The Maintenance Technician prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs, performs emergency/unscheduled repairs on machines, equipment and plant facilities during production, and performs regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. The role reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required repairs, maintenance and service, diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, and tests/makes adjustments on machines and equipment. The position performs a variety of electrical, plumbing and carpentry functions and completes hot work permits.

What you will need: Electrician, Millwright, or Industrial certification. Current maintenance experience as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment.
