Asheville, North Carolina – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with an industry leading packaging client that has been in business for over 100 years. Due to their growth, they have a newly opened position for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
What you will do: Electrical Maintenance Engineer supports area electrical maintenance, implement projects, and drives E/I reliability. The role keeps updated programs on file for all plc controls and programs, works with other electrical and mechanical project engineers on capital projects, and fills in as E/I Supervisor during his absence. The position assist electricians in drive and control trouble shooting, gauges reliability measures and implement changes as needed, and manages, directs, and co-ordinates all electrical and instrument projects with in area. Additionally, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer orders parts for contractors when working on cost plus jobs, is responsible for timekeeping, vacation scheduling, and other duties, and stays current with new drive and control technologies through self-study, hands on, and training.
What you will need: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. Current experience in an electrical maintenance role withinn heavy industry. Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of product. Knowledge of business and management principles. Basic knowledge of J.D. Edwards system. Working knowledge of batch digesters, brownstock washing, bleach plant operations and chlorine dioxide generation.
