New Bremen, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a company that fully designs, manufactures and distributes moving equipment for all types of manufacturing. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Electrical Engineer – Software.
What you will do: The Electrical Engineer – Software designs, codes, implements and integrates embedded ‘C’ software for Linux OS based systems, tests firmware and software solutions to stated requirements and specifications and participates in software reviews. Additionally, the position debugs software issues on prototype hardware, documents results, making necessary modifications, and documents changes and install in prototype truck, while also developing detailed design documentation including block, state and signal flow diagrams as well as API and sequence setups.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with current experience in embedded firmware and software development on Linux OS based systems. Familiarity with the Linux kernel and network protocols. Have working knowledge of database schema and designs.
