Electrical Engineer - Signal Integrity

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a leading supplier of electronic components to the automotive industry.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created Electrical Engineer – Signal Integrity position open.

What you will do: The Electrical Engineer – Signal Integrity performs signal integrity design for automotive high speed interconnects solutions, leads high-speed performance testing for next generation of products for harsh and rugged environments, and conducts and assists in detailed destructive analysis and failure analysis of products. The role provides technical coordination among the product design, marketing teams and customers, supports all new product development activities from feasibility studies, concept design, prototype development and testing, and evaluates cable and connector solutions for automotive interconnect standards (e.g. USCAR.). The position completes technical documentation, design files and work instructions, supports customer meetings from technical aspects for infotainment interconnect products, and assists in reviewing DVPR plans. Additionally, the Electrical Engineer – Signal Integrity assists in defining the limitations of signal integrity performance of existing and future products, assists in defining high-speed test procedures in the signal integrity lab, and understands, supports, and contributes to Quality/Environmental Management Systems by following approved policies and procedures.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience in RF or signal integrity design. Deep understanding of signal integrity, transmission lines, s-parameters, X-talk and Time domain analysis. Familiarization with digital and high-speed circuit designs. Working knowledge of basic electrical instrumentation (i.e. Multi-meter, oscilloscope, etc.).
