Salem, Illinois – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a manufacturing company supplying to transportation services. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Electrical Engineer.
What you will do: The Electrical Engineer supports the development of new product by designing, developing, testing, and performing evaluations of automotive electronic products, creates custom electrical/electronic designs. The position uses risk reduction tools to perform simulations, uses knowledge of material costs and costing processes to determine the impact on designs, and designs for maximum cost effectiveness while meeting all customer performance requirements. The role lays out electrical/mechanical components in equipment assemblies, while also being responsible for bill of material. Additionally,Maintenance of AutoCAD electrical symbol and parts database.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree or greater in engineering. Current experience in electrical engineering. Experience with AC and DC traction systems, rotating machines. Must be proficient in AutoCAD software. AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred
