Charleston, West Virginia – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a growing electrical engineered to order company with a national footprint. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Electrical Engineer.
What you will do: The Electrical Engineer manages the start-up procedures and documentation with contractors, engineers, customers, owners, utility companies, sales staff and service technicians. The role coordinates the shop buildup of Skid Packages which could include engine generator’s, switchgear, controls, pumps, electric motors, transformers and many other industrial solutions, monitors project costs and coordinates billing to initiate the invoicing process. The position performs on-site job review and attendance of construction meetings with contractors, provides problem resolutions with multiple parties, both technical and financial, and maintains responsibility for all technical and financial closeout of each project ensuring gross profit levels budgeted for each job. Additionally, the Electrical Engineer designs/evaluates custom components or systems for unique customer applications, reviews project documents for compliance with project requirements, and provides application support to engine customers.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Current experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing. Project management or quality related experience. Technical knowledge of diesel engine, electrical power generation, power distribution including engine generator sets, system integration design, assembly, installation, commissioning, operation, repair, paralleling switchgear and transfer switches, fuel systems, exhaust systems, enclosures engine generator’s, switchgear, controls, pumps, electric motors, transformers/ancillary equipment desired. High proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat.
