Electrical Engineer

Novi, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a world leading supplier of innovative parts and systems to the global automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Electrical Engineer.

What you will do: The Electrical Engineer is responsible for developing, designing and improving existing and new automotive products. The role ensures accurate execution of assignments related to PEP/IDP process, acts as a liaison to customer/supplier, and collaborates with personnel on various engineering and design activities related to the product development process. The position executes project development from concept to production release, incorporates internal and customer input/requirements into products, and generates studies and concept sketches for the purpose of understanding, communicating, or overcoming technical issues. Additionally, the Electrical Engineer executes complex calculations and kinematic studies, provides technical guidance and mentoring as needed to other engineers, and participates in test setup and fixture sign-off process.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Current experience in the tier-one automotive manufacturing environment. Current experience as an electrical engineer within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Proficiency with EMC. Understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing/assembly processes.
