New Boston, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an EHS Coordinator.
What you will do: The thrust of this position is on the safety side, assuring compliance and updated permits are in place. This role will be the face of safety for these facilities; highly visible with local regulators and legislators to be on the leading edge of pending regulations and implementing/drive corporate strategy at the site operations level. This position will audit facilities and systems to identify improvement opportunities and provide assistance in reaching goals and objectives while navigating pending and proposed regulations, positioning compliance with the least impact to the facility. This role will also act as a liaison with State, Federal and Local agencies on safety issues.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree related to EHS. Quantifiable experience setting safety policy for manufacturing facilities. Project management experience. Experience conducting hazard safety training/analysis. Solid understanding of ergonomics.
