ECU Engineer – Tier One

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a leading powertrain development company. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an ECU Engineer.

What you will do: The ECU Engineer sets up, configures, and troubleshoots equipment interfaced to customer equipment. The role assists customers with development of model based test systems and tunes control loops. The position monitors and initiates test, while also interfacing with and supporting customer testing schedules. Additionally, the ECU Engineer provides technical assistance, completes launched assignments, and assumes ownership of representing at offsite customer facilities.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and current experience commissioning test cells. Current experience in automotive manufacturing. Systems understanding of engine testing. Software experience with modeling (MatLab). Software experience with data acquisition, data logging, report creation and evaluation. Knowledge of ECUs. Experience with transducers (pressure, flow, speed, torque), signal conditions and calibration.
