Dyno Test Technician

Auburn Hills, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs  is working with a world leader in components used in automotive emissions systems for light duty and heavy duty vehicles. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Laboratory Technician.

What you will do: The Laboratory Technician – Dynamometer Testing maintains and operates the laboratory’s emission testing equipment for prototype test part evaluations to support customer specific testing programs. The role removes/installs catalysts in the test cells, instruments new test parts for aging, and performs test cell start-up and shutdown. The position changes engine oil, spark plugs, and fuel injectors, removes/installs dyno in the test cells, and orders replacement parts. Additionally, the Laboratory Technician operates emissions bench, writes procedures, and supports TS16949, ISO14001, and OSHA standards.

What you will need: Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology. Current experience in dynamometer testing.
