Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier of raw materials and electronics to the manufacturing industry. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Project Manager.
What you will do: The Project Manager is responsible for creating a functioning production site while meeting internal project milestones (timeline) and meeting profit objectives defined in approved project proposal. The role holds regular status meetings with project team and vendors, organizes/manages the site project regarding requirement, budget and timeline, and schedules the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines. The position is responsible for project reporting and tracking, including attending periodic project review meetings, preparing monthly summary of project status and quarterly project status for meetings, and reporting on project open issues and progress on the project timeline. Additionally, the Project Manager executes project work plans across departments, coordinates the alignment (work packages, overlapping tasks) between departments, and plans/monitors resources, responsibilities and costs.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. Current experience in automotive manufacturing project management. Advanced Knowledge in AutoCAD and MS Project.
