Newark, NJ – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a growing electrical engineered to order company with a national footprint. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a District Sales Manager.
What you will do: The District Sales Manager is responsible for sales of engineered buildings that house electrical distribution equipment through all channels in the territory including direct sales to existing utility, OEM, contractor or municipal accounts and the dealer/builders within the region. The role is responsible for growing sales within the territory by influencing specifications, developing new accounts, marketing the product in territory, and implementing strategic sales plans to accommodate the goals, while also achieving sales objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans. The position reviews, prepares and completes action plans, looking for new opportunities while continuing to care for current customers, manages all existing accounts within the region and is the voice of the customer, while also advising dealers and customers concerning sales and installation of buildings. Additionally, the District Sales Manager develops dealer/builder sales goals and objectives, represents the company at trade association meetings to promote building systems, delivers sales presentations to key clients and specifying engineers, and maintains/expands customer base.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current sales and/or engineering experience in metal buildings, doors, enclosures, genset enclosures, roofing, modular homes, steel structures, sheds, and garages. Experience in account management. Prior experience marketing industrial products directly to utilities, industrials or oil/gas segments.
Note: This position works out of a home office supporting the New England area.
