Director of Sales-Capital Equipment

Canton, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with an international, leading manufacturers for highly engineered products. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Director of Sales & Marketing .

What you will do: The Director of Sales & Marketing reports to the President and CEO, sets the overall direction for all sales and marketing activities, participates in trade organizations, customer visits, and trade shows to maintain and develop market relationships, and utilizes Salesforce CRM to link business activities worldwide. The position develops and oversees product/project selling pricing and sales processes, works with President to build strong brand awareness and strength, and oversees the marketing strategies and initiatives. The role directs a staff of five Sales Managers and associated support staff, develops and utilizes sales agents on a global basis, and works in close collaboration with the project management team. Additionally, the Director of Sales & Marketing participates in developing, implementing and maintaining corporate mission, visions, and objectives, works with the operations and finance departments to coordinate internal processes and activities, and assures compliance with directives and guidelines.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Strong sales management experience with strong customer interface within a industrial and manufacturing environment. Experience managing a sales and marketing staff. Experience involving steel processing, thermal, industrial or mechanical processes in the steel and/or tubular pipe industry. Ability to travel domestic and internationally.
