Santa Monica, California – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a consumer software developer looking to highlight candidates to fill their newly created Director of Recruiting position.
What you will do: The Director of Recruiting combines observations, conversations, instructions, and experience to define and refine roles to be filled, leads candidate identification, filtering and screening activities, and gauges competence in highly technical roles without deep technical knowledge. The role evaluates behavior, attitude, and patterns of expression for indications of subject mastery, proposes altering candidate requirements or prioritization of preferences as necessary to balance ideal qualifications with the ability to fill effectively and promptly, and resolves differing expectations for unfilled positions between management stakeholders. The position recommends/implements software or other tools to enhance clarity, convenience and speed of entire recruiting cycle, provides individual feedback and coaching to increase interviewing effectiveness of hiring managers and other interviewers, and refines hiring process and protocol to balance time investment with value returned. Additionally, the Director of Recruiting selects, manages, and periodically evaluates recruiting firms, staffing agencies or services, manages Applicant Tracking System, and manage scheduling of interviews.
What you will need: Current advanced experience in manufacturing recruiting. Experience directing personnel. Understanding of the legal requirements for interviewing, hiring, and employing domestic and international candidates. Proficiency with LinkedIn and Jobvite. Must be an avid gamer.
