Indianapolis, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a metal fabrication and manufacturing company. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Director of Operations.
What you will do: The Director of Operations leads the production team to exceed safety, quality, productivity and delivery initiatives. The role develops team members, motivates an unionized workforce, works effectively in cross-functional teams, and provides leadership for all production activities. The position owns the execution of KPI initiatives, drives continuous improvement activities, and ensures production follows appropriate workflow and manufacturing processes. The position works in conjunction with planning, supply chain and customer service to ensure timely completion of production schedules, is responsible for driving a culture of safety, and provides structured performance reviews and development plans for team members. Additionally, the Director of Operations provides frequent communication with all plant personnel and cross-functional areas.
What you will need: BS degree in Business or Engineering. Advanced experience in operations management. Metal stamping, heat treat, and high-speed automated assembly experience. MRP experience.
