Director Human Resources

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania  – Movement Search & Delivery  is working with a growing, high volume manufacturing company.

What you will do: The Director, Human Resources position is the senior HR position for the business unit and a member of the site Leadership Team. This position leads talent management and talent acquisition for the 800 person business ensures consistent application of all policies and procedures including counseling of employees. This position is the lead contact for all matters pertaining to the Union contract, grievances, and salary while maintaining the good working relationship. The right candidate for this position will have a generalist background in order to effectively handle all the HR functions.  This will be a functional management role with a hand full of direct reports.  This facility has gone through double-digit growth in the last few years adding over 150 people to this facility.

What you will need: A Bachelor’s degree with a progressive career into a human resources management role.  Current experience in an industrial setting preferably with high volume manufacturing.  Current experience as the first level contact for union negotiations, no exceptions  Quantifiable experience negotiating labor contracts to a mutually beneficial conclusion for the company and the union.  Local candidates highly preferred, full relocation is not being offered at this stage of the search.
