Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier of automotive tier one manufactured goods. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Director of Advanced Manufacturing.
What you will do: The Director of Advanced Manufacturing is responsible for all manufacturing areas, material handling, shipping, receiving and scheduling department. The role supports departments in productivity attainment, quality standards, and conformance to policies and procedures, provides leadership in continuous improvement initiatives, and is responsible for EMS documentation. The position provides management over manufacturing shifts in blanking, stamping, welding, assembly, shipping, and receiving, facilitates natural cross-functional work teams, and determines, achieves and improves productivity, quality, environmental, health, and safety goals, and supports new program launches. Additionally, the Director of Advanced Manufacturing continuously improves process documentation, quality standards, set-up procedures and visual aids.
What you will need: BS Degree in Engineering. Manufacturing experience in automotive industry. Advanced experience in manufacturing management. Experience leading multiple production shifts.
