Ann Arbor, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an automotive maintenance company looking to fill their open position for a Diesel Mechanic.
What you will do: The Diesel Mechanic overhauls and repairs heavy duty engines including Caterpillar, Cummins, and Detroit Truck engines clutches, transmissions, differentials, and power systems, cooling systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems, or any other system used on heavy duty trucks. The role installs engines, transmissions, and other components and maintains good customer relations and performance standards. The position performs preventative maintenance, installs various parts (bumpers, visors, etc) and maintains the cleaning and safety of the shop area.
What you will need: HS diploma. Current experience in diesel maintenance. Experience with welding and fabrication.
