Auburn Hills, Michigan Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with an international tier-one supplier of automotive components. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Electrical Development Engineer.

What you will do: The Electrical Development Engineer develops electronic hardware and supports software development to drive and control electro hydraulic shift technology products. The role interprets customer engineering specifications and helps converting them into internal specs, develops electronic prototype hardware & software to drive/control EST products and generates electrical schematics, and supports developments of production intent electronic hardware to drive/control products. The position supports validation group to drive products, measure technical key parameters and to interpret test results, supports technical communication to key suppliers, and conducts technical presentations using various communications. Additionally, the Electronic Development Engineer monitors industry trends, new product introductions and new technologies that R&D can use to improve cost and performance, and make recommendations.

What you will need: BSEE. Experience in a product design development and release to production environment, preferably within the automotive industry. Knowledge of electronic hardware development. Knowledge of Automotive communications (CAN, LIN, FlexRay). Knowledge of C and C++ software language. Knowledge of automotive programming standards according to ISO26262 and MISRA_C helpful. Knowledge of BLDC motor controls helpful. Knowledge of customer program development systems.
