Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have recently opened a position for a Product Design Engineer.
What you will do: The Product Design Engineer designs, develops, tests, and releases off-highway and specialty products. The role interfaces directly with external customers, end users, and suppliers, develops “clean sheet” designs and design modifications using sound engineering principles, and performs engineering calculations. The position provides direction/collaboration with CAD designers to develop new axle concepts, presents concepts and engineering work, reviews FEA results and makes design judgments. Additionally, the Product Design Engineer provides product engineering support, develops test plans, and manages testing activities.
What you will need: BSME. Experience in product design within a tier-one automotive manufacturing environment. Experience with CAD software.
