Cordele, Georgia – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a growing, multi-billion dollar manufacturing client. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Deployment Engineer.
What you will do: The Deployment Engineer maintains lighting software applications, updates and debugs legacy code base; test and distribute updates, and provides last-line technical support. The role delivers authoritative solutions to escalated support issues, develops lighting software applications, and researches/evaluates new technologies and techniques. The position reviews technical manuals and academic papers, develops prototypes and presents recommendations, and ensures that contributions from team members meet project requirements, validating for correctness.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Proficiency in an imperative programming language. Proficiency in algorithm and data structure design/implementation. Experience with high- and low-level software architecture design. C, C++, VC++ experience. Significant use of Computer Communications (including PC and embedded Microcomputers). Knowledge of embedded hardware design and ability to modify hardware.
