Monroe, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier of machined tier-one components supplied to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Data Analyst.
What you will do: The Data Analyst works in partnership with the Senior Database Administrator to analyze business requirements and create reports for internal business units. The role defines scopes and objectives, produces reports to meet those business objectives, and compiles detailed reports using data reporting tools such as SSRS, VisionPlex, IntelliPlex, Cognos and / or Crystal Reports. The position develops automated and reusable routines for extracting requested information from database systems, reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business requirements to support internal business objectives, and designs, develops, implements and maintains the business solutions to support the business requirements. Additionally, the Data Analyst creates code to support existing application, develops fixes, identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems, and provides assistance and technical support to business units.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Proficiency in SQL and report writing. Web Development experience with PHP or Java.
